3/28/2000 Meeting held at the Rational Software Conference Center, Lexington, MA

Meeting called to order at 1715

The first order of business was a presentation of "What's New in Rational ClearCase 4.0" (Part 2) presented by Ralph Capasso of Rational Software.

Old business:

Formalizing the BMCCUG (Session #2 of 3)

Concluded nomination of Board Members with the following results:

James Dunion - President
Kevin Pease - Vice President
Karen L. Brown - Vice President of Membership
Chris Chalifoux - Vice President of Meetings
Secretary - Lewis J. White

Held Board Member elections with unanimous approval of all nominated candidates as follows:

James Dunion - President
Kevin Pease - Vice President
Karen L. Brown - Vice President of Membership
Chris Chalifoux - Vice President of Meetings
Secretary - Lewis J. White

Last item of old business was a report from the Bylaw committee presented by Larry Lavigne. The following
items were discussed:

--Question as to whether or not contractors should be allowed to serve on the Board of Directors. It
was decided to further define the term 'contractor' with Rational before continuing the discussion.
--Question as to whether or not the BMCCUG should be a non-profit organization for the purpose of
providing liability protection for board members. No vote or action was taken.
--The next meeting of the Bylaw committee will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2000 at the Crown Plaza, Woburn, MA.

New Business:

President Jim Dunion motioned for the next meeting of the BMCCUG to be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at 5pm at the Burlington, MA Marriott. There was a second to the motion and it was passed unanimously. The meeting will be hosted by the Eliasson Group.

Next, a vote was taken as to the presentation topic for the next meeting. By way of a voice vote, it was decided the next presentation will be on 'Performance Tuning'. Dave Darby volunteered to coordinate with Rational Software concerning specifics of the presentation.
