Meeting called to order on September 26, 2000 at 1740, at Fidelity Investments, Boston, MA by President Jim Dunion

Reading of the previous 2 meetings minutes was done at 1742
Torrey Holmes moved to accept both sets of minutes, Walter
Manson seconded.  Minutes unanimously accepted as they were written &
distributed.

President Jim Dunion informed the members that the door prize for next
meeting rumored to be "pretty good".  He also informed the members that Eric Piatt should be
posting a job-listing web site associated with the BMRCCUG within the next
few days.  Formal announcement should be made when it's ready for use.

1745 - 1800 -- Presentation -- "Syntax & Rational vis-a-vis
Unix-NT interoperation" Presented by Jack Smith, Executive VP of Business Development, Syntax, Inc.  

The presentation included an overview of the company,the products that
they offer, and how they've partnered with Rational.


1800 - 1918 -- Presentation -- "SMB & NFS protocols:  Architecture
& Administration" Presented by Rob Bradbury, Sales Engineer, Syntax, Inc.
The presentation provided an overview & technical survey of the SMB & NFS
protocols, with particular attention to administrative & architectural details.


1918 - 1930 -- Presentation -- "TAS:  An Interop Solution"
Presented by William Patten, Major Account Executive, Boston Regional Office
Very brief introduction & summary of TAS.


1930 - 1935 -- Awarding of Door Prizes
Digital Camera won by Thomas Krall
Syntax Laptop Briefcase won by Mark Keil

10 Fidelity t-shirts were also raffled to the membership


1935 - 2000 -- General ClearCase Q&A.


A motion to adjourn the meeting was offered at 1953 with unanimous approval.
