  The position will involve configuration management utilizing ClearCase in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will be to implement and oversee the configuration management program. Do builds for the file application built in C++. Manage branching and merging in ClearCase for numerous development teams who share the same code base. Deploy application to customers, transition current make procedures to Clearmake. Determine how to manage java code base and integrate VisualAge for Java with ClearCase. Perform builds using ClearCase. Determine reason for incomplete builds and report to managers. Produce software release notes. Support, train and mentor the development teams on configuration management processes and the use of the version control and defect tracking tools. Maintain scripts for automation of build/audit processes. Conduct weekly Software Configuration Control Board meetings. Create and maintain procedures for building and releasing the products. Performs audits on the Software Change Requests going into a build. Develop and maintain Software Configuration Management Plan. Ability to maintain Software Configuration Management tools ClearCase, DDTS.
• Required Skills:
  3+ years experience with ClearCase, ClearQuest, ClearMake, DDTS, C++, Java.
