  The Configuration Management Specialist will provide technical support for all configuration management applications. He/she will assist with supporting and troubleshooting modifications and upgrades. In the event of failures, the Specialist will be responsible for the timely escalation of severe problems to appropriate levels of management. The Specialist will also assume responsibility for escalating concerns, and offering alternative recommendations about resource constraints and other impediments to his/her immediate supervisor and Technology Quality Assurance management. The Specialist will manage and maintain documentation related to configuration management. In this position you will Install, maintain, and support configuration management tools. Participate in developing, rolling out, upgrading, and maintaining organizational configuration management standards, processes, and procedures. Review architectural security requirements for each development project. Write, review, edit and maintain configuration management documentation. Identify configuration management processes that can be automated.
• Required Skills:
  For this position you should have experience in UNIX/NT administration, Shell scripting (Korn, perl, C, Bourne), and at least 1 year of configuration management experience.
