• Job Description:
  The goal of the Configuration Management Team is to manage the configuration of our products in our development and production environments from the hardware to the application code. This includes managing our system minimum hardware and software requirements, integration of third party products, the configuration of our database schema and our application code (both NT & Unix).
  The activities of this team include working closely with the product development and technical services teams to manage and improve the build, release and deployment processes, procedures, and standards. They are responsible for ensuring that the development, test and production environments are maintained with changes as projects progress. This coordination involves internal development, database and operations teams.
• Required Skills:
  · 3 ­ 5 years of direct release management experience
  · Recognizes cross-team interdependencies in bringing products together
  · Recognized as a subject matter expert
  · Skilled in the ClearCase Mixed UNIX & NT environment
  · Experience creating and maintaining UNIX and NT build scripts and environments
  · UNIX Shell or Perl programming.
  · An understanding of some of the following web based tools and environments: C, C++ / Java, Perl, XML, HTML, MQSeries, Web
  · The following skills are a plus:
  o SMS Packaging
  o Makefile
  o Installsheild
  o Oracle and SQL knowledge
  · Able to work in a very fast-paced, flexible environment
  · Mature, able to handle the pressure of maintaining live products
  · BS/BA degree
