  Our client is a large financial services organization looking for an experienced ClearCase Administrator to join their SCM consulting group in Boston. The group is responsible for SCM technology implementation and support and maintenance of financial applications for multiple business units. As ClearCase Administrator you will have the opportunity to learn new technology and implementations while working on multiple SCM consulting engagements. You will also be part of a group that focuses on client satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and employee development.
  RESPONSIBILITIES
  --Define, implement, and improve ClearCase environments
  --Develop and maintain SCM systems using ClearCase--including understanding ClearCase internals (server process, etc.), troubleshooting ClearCase problems, and working with ClearCase peripheral tools (Multisite, etc.)
  --Manage VOBs and Views (set-up through troubleshooting)
  --Develop and document processes relating to ClearCase, e.g., Checkout/Checkin, Build, Release
  --Establish and maintain software build and integration process—integrate code changes into test and production environments, build the software, and install it in test and production environments; automate and streamline the process using ClearCase; investigate software problems and assist with resolution
  --UNIX shell and perl scripting for process improvement and policy enforcement
  --Support development staff in using ClearCase
• Required Skills:
  --BSCS (or equivalent) and 2 or more years experience implementing ClearCase on UNIX or NT platforms
  --Experience with SCM technology and processes
  --Experience with SCM standards, procedures, methods, and tools
  --Expertise in UNIX shell programming in the bourne, korn, c shells, perl, and/or C/C-plus-plus.
  --Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem resolution skills
  --Additionally, the following qualifications are desirable: experience working in a networked development environment; PVCS experience, UNIX or NT system administration experience, QA/testing experience, and production support/troubleshooting experience
