Job Description:
| Program Manager role with strong managerial experience for a pre-production, production and release environment utilizing Clearcase.
Candidate must be very "customer service" focused who thrives in a high pace, stressful environment, and is able to relieve crises, dispel tension (with humor, etc.), and coordinate across multiple projects and multiple disciplines. Fast learners. Those that have lots of IT exposure, and the more diverse the background the better.
Managerial skills are key.
Very strong communications skills are critical as are conflict resolution skills.
Team works on all pre-production, business implementation and production issues, and manages the release process, what is going on in the build, manage the entrance/exit criteria coming into the test environments, act as a liaison between development and support prior to production, communicate with other release managers, etc.
Will take requests and put into production, field requests to support teams when something hasn't come through for them, and interact with all their different client end user groups: Business, Implementation, Systems, and Support Groups (DBA and Production support).
Someone who has used Clearcase and built deployments would be a fit technically, but this is not as important as the managerial skills.
