    		• Our client in the Los Angeles area is looking for a Senior ClearCase Administration contractor who will be responsible for the infrastructure setup, maintenance and support of a worldwide implementation of IBM Rational ClearCase Multisite. The computing systems infrastructure contains a mixture of RedHat Linux, Sun Solaris, and Microsoft Windows operating systems. This person will play a key role in the decision making process of improving and standardizing the implementation of ClearCase MultiSite and associated computing platforms across all engineering design centers.
    Responsibilities include:
  • Provide support and maintenance to the existing ClearCase infrastructure ensuring that all systems provide acceptable performance and reliability.
  • Ensure multi-site replication occurs across design centers and troubleshoot issues with the synchronization process.
  • Work with team members to standardize the tools and processes implemented for maintaining ClearCase employed across all design centers. 1. Determine "best practice" SCM solutions, which may affect the ClearCase infrastructure. 2. Assist in the resolution of issues or problems that may occur in the engineering community.
  • Partner with Information Technology to: 1. Recommend hardware and software solutions utilized in the ClearCase infrastructure. 2. Recommend and configure a "fault-tolerant" environment
  • Required Skills:
  • 7+ Years of ClearCase Administration.
  • IBM, Rational ClearCase administration, UNIX and Windows system administration, UNIX shell, Perl scripting
  • Experience with using or administrating IBM Rational toolsets including ClearQuest, PureCoverage, Purify, Quantify, Rose.
