Job Description:
1. Develop test plans to qualify system functionality
2. Design and develop test cases and test scenarios to qualify the system under test
3. Automate test cases and test scenarios utilizing GUI automation tools, C++ and/or Java
4. Design and implement test harnesses to automate unit and system level regression testing of product builds
5. Discover and document software defects and work with engineering to help to identify root cause of defects and close out defect reports
6. Generate software defect reports for managing and reporting on the quality status of the product under development
7. Monitor nightly and release level builds and work with engineering to resolve build problems
8. Contribute to the ongoing development of improving build tools

Required Skills:
| Candidate must have 7+ years of experience in the role of software test and 3+ years in the role of release engineer. Individual must be skilled in writing automation tests utilizing GUI automation tools (i.e., Win-Runner, QA Partner) and programmatic languages such as C++ and/or Java. Candidate must have prior experience working with source control systems, build procedures, and scripting languages. Knowledge of CVS, PERL, and InstallShield is a plus. Individual must feel comfortable working in a multi-platform environment; Windows, UNIX, and MAC OS. The position requires someone with very good communication skills, who can function as a self-starter, and who can contribute in a fast pace environment.
