Job Description:
| Responsible for managing the Release System Life Cycle for a specific ODL release; responsible for ensuring all key dates are met; ncludes, but is not limited to, managing scheduling and completion of deliverables, change control/implementation planning, release quality, and reporting.

Required Skills:
5+ years prior experience in project management, with working knowledge of an approved SDLC methodology
8+ years of experience in systems design and implementation; must have experience developing business requirements, detailed design specifications, testing plans, and system implementation plans
Exposure to distributed system architectures, relational database technology, specifically Oracle, object oriented system development, and middleware technologies such as MQSeries and CORBA
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong consensus building and negotiation skills
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to managing and coordinating a specific release, developing release project plans, managing and approving changes to the release, establish release level documentation, track quality and risk of the release, and status reporting for the release.
OPTIONAL SKILLS:
Prior experience managing projects as part of a release based approach to delivering business functionality to the business
Prior experience working in a large distributed/matrix managed IT
environment
