  • Job Description:
  • Lead the production control and support group. This group will be responsible for the day-to-day support of production control environment which includes, Unix, NT, and HP3000 source code movement, change control management.
  • Play a key part in the group effort of building up the dual data center operations focusing on fault tolerance, diversity and redundancy.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day support of production control and support, which includes; Unix, NT, HP3000 source code movement, change control management.
  • Enforcing systems management disciplines through Production Control.
  • Work with the Disaster Recovery team to ensure proper disaster recovery procedures are in place and maintained.
  • Maintaining and validating the production operational processes, procedures, and documentation in support of fail over and disaster recovery.
  • Working closely with the operations, disaster recovery, network and server services, security, and development teams ensuring proper standards are in place and maintained as we continue to adhere to auditing standards.
  • Key participant on budgetary and vendor selection/negotiation process
  • Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional and technical experience with at least 5 years in a “hands on” production control/support manager position.
  • Minimum of 10 years of strong technical UNIX Solaris.
  • Strong source code movement background using PVCS, as well as proven change control management skills.
  • Strong project and delivery management experience.
  • Provide strong leadership in disciplines of production control and support management, focusing on developing and enhancing our production control/support policies and procedures.
  • Proven successful track record in field and career advancements.
  • Excellent customer service skills; good presentation, with good verbal and written communication skills.
