    		• Would you like to join experienced and dynamic team supporting key EMC software development efforts? In this position you will contribute to software process development, configuration management, and release engineering. Your activities will include debugging, fixing and enhancing configuration management tools on a variety of Unix

    (Solaris/Linux/NetBSD) and Windows (XP) platforms; problem-solving help-desk questions from our developer community; monitoring builds; and generating software releases. Our team maintains a large and sophisticated tools suite with database, web, replicated and client-server components. This is an entry-level opportunity to grow key technical and process skills from the bottom up.

  • Required Skills:
  • BS in Computer Science or other technical field.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Microsoft Windows.
  • Programming experience a must; knowledge of Perl a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Motivated and independent, ability to learn new skills quickly, and the ability and desire to work in a team.
  • Experience with version control, defect tracking, release management a plus.
