    		• The Engineering department is hiring an Advisory Release Engineer for the Westford office. Reporting to the Manager, Release Services, this position will be responsible for the following functions:
  • Interacting with technical subject matter experts, primarily developers, to create high quality builds, patches and release automation scripts for a highly technical product, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working with a cross-functional team, including product marketing, development, quality assurance and customer support to implement processes.
  • Providing end-user support for ClearCase and other SCM tools to developers and other users of the tool.
  • Working with minimum supervision.
  • Performing other duties as directed by the Release Services Manager or Team Lead.
  • Required Skills:
  • Must include skills in one or more common programming languages such as C, C++, Java etc.
  • Must be proficient with Software Configuration Management and Software Code Control principles.
  • Must include skills and experience with ClearCase or another comparable SCM tool.
  • Would benefit from having skills with Red Hat RPM installation SPEC files, Perl and UNIX shell scripting and programming.
  • Would benefit from Microsoft operating system installation and configuration experience.
  • Would benefit from Microsoft .NET development experience.
  • Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, coupled with 5-10 years related experience.
